Tawab Kazemi in

Managing Director & Founder

Tawab has been working in the Transportation Sector for more than 30 years, and has managed high-value multi-disciplinary transport, traffic and road safety projects, for private and public sector Clients in the UK, UAE, Qatar, KSA, Ethiopia, Afghanistan and India. He is a Fellow of CIHT and a qualified Road Safety Auditor and Fellow of the UK’s Society of Road Safety Auditors (SoRSA). He has carried out more than 2,000 Road Safety Audits on varying project sizes and types relating to roads, public transport (e.g. tram corridors), BRT systems, cycle and pedestrian facilities. Tawab has regularly conducted training on Road Safety Auditing and Road Safety Engineering related topics, including Vulnerable Road User Safety, and Work Zone Safety. He has also contributed to the development of several road safety related manuals and guidelines, e.g. Road Safety Audit Guidelines, Road Design Guidelines for several countries. Tawab is passionate about promoting sustainable transport modes.

Phil is a Road Safety Consultant with over 45 years’ experience in investigations, recording and analysing collision data, enforcement, incident management, and education. He is an experienced Road Safety Auditor, having completed hundreds of audits for UK, UAE, KSA and Qatar projects. He spent 7 years as the Lead Consultant developing main road incident management capabilities in Dhabi and more recently Dubai. He has considerable experience in other projects, including road safety assessments, transport risk reviews, preparation of technical manuals, and preparation/delivery of local training required to support their introduction. Prior to coming to the UAE in 2012, he was the Head of Road Safety for a UK Road Authority, having previously spent more than 30 years in the UK police, specialising in investigation of fatal and serious injury traffic collisions, and an area commander for Roads Policing.

Dinu is a Transportation Engineer with 20+ years of experience spanning road safety engineering, collision data management, highway design, data analysis and modelling, research, computer programming, and project management. He has delivered road safety and road infrastructure projects across the UAE, Qatar, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, the UK, and India. Dinu is an experienced Road Safety Auditor and is a member of SoRSA and CIHT. His expertise includes conducting road safety audits and assessments, developing road safety interventions, implementing collision data management systems, contributing to road design manuals, traffic and collision data analysis and modelling, and managing highway design and project delivery. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a Master’s degree in Traffic and Transportation Engineering, and a PhD in Road Safety Studies. He has authored research publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.

He has worked on road safety assignments across the UAE, India, Georgia, Mongolia, and Tanzania. His research in road safety has been published in reputed academic and professional platforms, including Elsevier, Springer, and the Indian Highways Journal.
